Patti has come up with some fun and flexible quilt ideas for you with the Zippy quilt kits. We currently have three options — boy colors, girl colors and a bright bird and floral print (center quilt). Each quilt kit allows you to play with the layout of the simple half-square triangle sections, and each kit has directions for any of the three options we’re showing. The quilts are quick too with the focus fabric taking center stage with just the two half-square triangle sections breaking up the sections. Of course, these would make great quilts to gift if you’re looking for something that is fast!
The Zippy boy and girl versions measure 41″ x 56″, and the kits cost $42. The floral/bird print version measures 41″ x 58″, and the kits cost $44.

We have received a lot of gorgeous new reproduction fabrics recently. One collection of note is the new Moda Howard Marcus Collection for a Cause called Faith. A portion of profits from the spring 2011 Collection for a Cause are donated by Moda to The Coalition to Support America’s Heroes. Not only is this a wonderful cause, but also the fabrics are beautiful! We made our Broken Road quilt with Faith fabrics.
