Wasn’t the Great Lakes Heritage Quilters show terrific?! The quilts were fantastic! Congratulations to the guild on putting together a very nice first show!
We always try to have new and special kits and items when we are show vendors. The Great Lakes Heritage Quilters show was no exception. We debuted a lovely Sunshine and Shadows quilt in soft lavenders, purples and pinks. It showcased our favorite colorway of Kaffe Fassett’s new potentilla print. (Yes, it’s true, my photo doesn’t do it justice…) We still have a few kits of this beauty.
We also had our new quilt featuring Free Spirit’s Mendhi line. We do have 1/4 yard bundles of the entire line as well as yardage of most of the prints.
We also took many of the quilts from the All Through the Night trunk show. While the quilts had to go back to their home–how sad–we do have many of the kits remaining. Come by and get your favorite before they’re all gone!
You’ll recall that we had Edyta Sitar from Laundry Basket Quilts in the store during the shop hop doing wonderful demonstrations. She graciously allowed us to feature some of her quilts in our booth at the show, and we still have the quilts in the store for you to see. You can also see a portion of her Dresden Star quilt in the picture showing our Mendhi quilt. You’ll definitely want to get the patterns for these–she will introduce you to great techniques to insure wonderful, accurate results!
So, that’s a wrap-up of just some of the items we debuted at the show. Look for more new things at our next show:
