Spring/Summer 2009 Classes Added

We’ve added new classes to the schedule. Just click over to the Classes page to see what we have for you! The oh-so-popular Tumbling Blocks is scheduled for two more rounds in June, we have some cute totes and accessories, as well as workshops for the Stitcher’s Garden block of the month.

Patti will be teaching Building Blocks. We have fabric bundles ready and waiting for you in five colorways.

Building Blocks is a super-fast quilt and would look wonderful in so many colorways!

Always popular is the Radiant Suns class–that is scheduled for the end of May. If you’d like more curved piecing, we’ll be scheduling the Rainbow Block class shortly. This is the block used for our Neptune quilt.

Free-motion machine quilting will be added to the schedule shortly as well.

Finally, we will be open on Mother’s Day from noon to 3 pm (regular hours). Happy Mother’s Day to all!

New Classes

Our class list page has been updated with an extensive list of FUN for winter 2009! We’ll be adding and tweaking over the next little while, but this should get you started.

Beat the winter blahs with a class–or seven!

New Classes Added

Be sure to check out the “Classes” page. We’ve added some great spring projects taught by Sheila. We have scheduled locker hooking, the 20-minute pillow case and a great reversible apron. Click on “CLASSES” to get the details.

New Classes Added to the Classes Page

We have scheduled several new class offerings as well as old favorites. Upcoming are great classes on a lone star quilt, using border prints, making a great basket using scrappy strips and a new 2 1/2″ strip club. Machine Quilting Class Added

This one is filling fast! Please see the class policies page for information on signing up.

Machine Quilting
Hands-on quilting. Learn about battings, threads, walking/darning feet, tensions, marking tools, templated and free-motion quilting. Pick up the instruction sheet for base block to quilt on. Must bring machine and walking and darning feet.
