New Quilts! All the Latest!

We have more new quilts to show you. We hope you’ll stop by soon and see them in person.

The first is Cindy Lou’s Garden. We have fabric bundles in two different color ways for this cheerful quilt. Bundles are $59. Hex N More ruler sold separately.

Next up is our Stacked quilt. Kits are $48 and include a free pattern. The quilt finishes to approx. 54″ x 70″.

Here is our English Miss quilt. Kits are $46 and the quilt is approximately 63″ x 79″.

Finally, how about some tropical batiks to warm things up? Use one of our Bali Pop strip bundles and the Braids on Parade pattern for this 51″ x 57″ quilt.

Cabin Fever Shop Hop Is Coming Up!

We’re getting the store ready for the 2013 Cabin Fever Shop Hop! Doesn’t it look cozy?! Do you have your passport? You don’t want to miss this one!

The theme is Remembering Michigan, so the progressive quilt design reflects some of our favorite outdoor themes about our state. Progressive quilt kits will cost $6 plus tax at each store.

Here are all the details. Stop in and get a passport and join in some cabin fever fun!

The theme for the 2013 hop is
REMEMBERING MICHIGAN
The Progressive Quilt will be a small sampler highlighting
Michigan’s beautiful and wondrous attributes
The blues and greens of this specially designed quilt will be shown with a computer picture while we are working on creating the quilt. The kits will only be $6.00 plus tax at each store and will provide pieced and appliqué patterns for the blocks. The shop hop pattern pack with the fabrics will include of course, the famous Michigan mitten, a sailboat, pine tree, moose, fish, bear, bird and a lighthouse. It’s a great quilt for the woodsman of the family, nature lovers or a Michigan college student.
We hope this quilt can be a fond remembrance of a Michigan vacation. Adding collectibles from your travels can be an exciting project for kids and adults. Optional pattern ideas will also be available using the beautiful blue/green base quilt in other ways.

Guildcrafters has scheduled a bus for Thursday, February 7, 2013.

The luxury coach bus fee is $43.00 and includes a light breakfast, games, prizes, an afternoon snack and YES, of course, Cindy will be your bus mom to help with anything you need.
The bus will leave the Northwood Shopping Plaza at 13 mile and Woodard at 8:10 am and will be stopping at a Cracker Barrel providing a lunch break for those who would like to take a break.
